Important Information & Policies

Priority & Availability
Summer housing is in high demand and spaces are very limited and not guaranteed. Priority is given to students enrolled in summer courses.

For Current Spring Residents

  • Staying for the Full Summer? If you currently live in Walking Stick and are staying for the summer, please note: You will be required to relocate to a different apartment for the summer and will be temporarily placed in dorm housing to facilitate essential annual cleaning. We appreciate your understanding, as exceptions cannot be made.
  • Need a Short Late Stay? If you have spring housing and only need to stay a few days after closing (May 16 - May 24), do not complete the summer application. Please fill out the Late Stay Request Form in the Housing Portal instead.

Meal Plans & Academic Year Housing

  • Meal plans are not available during the summer months.
  • A summer assignment in Walking Stick does not guarantee housing there for the Fall semester. These apartments are filled during the spring room selection process. To be considered for Fall, please add your name to the Walking Stick Waitlist in the Housing Portal.
