Frequently Asked Questions
Are there grants available for student organizations?
Yes. Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) may apply for Student Organization Funding (SOF) Grants to support sustainability, host events, and travel to conferences. Review the Student Organization Handbook before submitting a SOF Grant proposal.
Where can I get posters approved?
Posters must be approved in the SLICE Office (OSC 102) with Brianna Sammons, Student Affairs Marketing Specialist. To post in Residence Halls, bring a stack of approved posters to the Walking Stick Clubhouse front desk.
How do I start a new Recognized Student Organization?
Meet with the Coordinator of 1st Gen & Student Orgs Programs before starting. New organizations require four CSU Pueblo students as officers, a faculty/staff advisor, a mission statement, and a constitution. More details are available in the Student Organization Handbook under the Resources tab.
How do I find an advisor for my organization?
Reach out to faculty or staff members who have interests that align with the mission or focus of your organization.
Can organizations order food from off campus?
Due to the University's agreement with Aladdin, all food must be catered through Aladdin University Catering. For exceptions or questions, contact Jerry Carter in Auxiliary Services at 719.549.2149.
