CSU Pueblo Accuplacer and Math Guidance
We encourage all undergraduate students to complete their General Education Math requirement within their first year at CSU Pueblo. CSU Pueblo allows multiple placement options for math, including ACT or SAT scores, prior college credits, AP or IB credits, and the Accuplacer.

- Submitting ACT or SAT scores
- Taking the Accuplacer
Prior Credits
- Prior credits earned from another institution
- Credits earned from Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) programs

Accuplacer at CSU Pueblo
Schedule AccuplacerAccuplacer testing costs $10, is by appointment only, and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance through RegisterBlast.

- Students take the Accuplacer at the Pack Center in LARC, Room 151.
- Payment must be made before coming in to take the Accuplacer. Payment is not accepted on site at the Pack Center.
- Students must bring a valid picture ID when coming in to take the Accuplacer.
Prepare Before Testing
We strongly recommend students study and complete free practice exams before taking the Accuplacer. Practice resources are available through the College Board website.

If you are local or nearby Pueblo, we recommend you take the Accuplacer in person at CSU Pueblo. If you are not local, we recommend you find a local college or university that provides testing services or take the Accuplacer online through ProctorU. Testing fees may be associated with taking the Accuplacer at another site or online.

Once you have determined where you will take the Accuplacer, pay for your Accuplacer and any associated testing services. Use the guidance below based on your plan.
Taking at CSU Pueblo: Contact the CSU Pueblo Cashier’s Office to pay your $10 Accuplacer fee before your scheduled test. There is no additional testing services fee. You can pay by credit card over the phone at 719-549-2107 or in person at the Administration Building, Room 204, Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. After paying, you will receive an email receipt, which you must show as proof of payment when you check in for your exam. No payment is accepted on site at the Pack Center. Students must also bring valid picture ID with proof of payment.
Taking at another testing center: After selecting your testing center, contact them directly to confirm payment requirements, as some require a CSU Pueblo voucher and others do not. If a voucher is needed, you must first pay the $10 test fee through CSU Pueblo before it can be issued. Follow the instructions above to complete payment and request a voucher from the Pack Center if needed. If you test at another institution, be sure to send your scores to CSU Pueblo. Please note that testing centers may also charge additional service fees.
Taking Accuplacer online through ProctorU: To schedule your Accuplacer through ProctorU, you will need a remote voucher from CSU Pueblo. Pay the $10 test fee in advance by contacting the CSU Pueblo Cashier’s Office by phone at 719-549-2107 or in person at the Administration Building, Room 204, Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. After payment, forward your receipt to csup_packcenter@csupueblo.edu to request your remote voucher. When scheduling in ProctorU, select College Board Accuplacer as your institution, enter your voucher code, and apply it before completing the remaining steps. Please note that ProctorU charges additional testing service fees.

Note: ACCUPLACER, SAT, and ACT test scores are valid for five years. Scores older than five years cannot be used for course placement.
