Praxis Placement Exams
A passing score on your respective content exam must be received before School of Education faculty will take action on your student teaching application. No student teacher may begin student teaching until they have passed their Praxis Exam.

I'm a CSU Pueblo Student. Where do I go to take my exam?
When you register for your exam, you will be asked to choose a location. Currently, Colorado Springs is the closest location. CSU Pueblo testing center is attempting to reopen.
Any ETS approved testing center can be used to take the exam. Please make sure that scores are reported to CDE.

What happens if I don't pass?
ETS requires a 21-day waiting period before re-taking an exam. You may retake the exams as many times as needed in order to pass. Taking exams early can ease anxiety so students do not feel rushed to pass the semester before student teaching.
Passing scores are required for student teachers to student teach in Colorado.
