English Language Learner Renewal Credit

Need to Meet the English Language Learner Requirement for Renewing Your Teaching License? 

CSU Pueblo is an approved provider of the ELL professional development program. With a single 3-credit graduate course available in an online format you can renew your teaching license.

  • Course: CLDE 501 – Teaching English Language Learners 
  • Cost: ~$1100
  • When: Offered every term throughout the year (Spring, Summer, Fall). 

Contact the School of Education by January 1, May 1, or August 1 to be eligible for each respective offering. 

What you get: 

  1. High-quality training on how to teach English language learners from a CLDE-endorsed instructor with over 10 years of experience
  2. Three graduate credits that will:
    1. meet state ELL requirement
    2. count toward license renewal credits
    3. likely help with salary increases
    4. count toward our M.Ed. program.

Fill out the guest student application as a Graduate Non-degree for Credit.  Submit your application to the School of Education for required signatures and course registration.
