    Volunteers

Fall Move-in can be a stressful and overwhelming time for our new and returning students. And we want to help them feel welcomed as possible. If you available to help with move-in on Friday, August 17th from 8am to 2pm and/or Saturday, August 18th from 8am to 2pm, please consider volunteering. Volunteers help in many areas such as traffic/parking control, paperwork collection, greeter, welcome table (hand out water), and movers. Student Organizations are welcomed to volunteer!

To sign-up, fill out this form. If you are signing up a group of more than 10, you can email your roster to housing@csupueblo.edu.

Mandatory Volunteer training is Wednesday, August 15th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm in the Crestone classroom. Large groups may send a representative but must share the information with the group.

    Guidelines for Volunteers:

    • Movers should wear closed-toe shoes.
    • Groups/Organization may talk about their organization as they help but cannot be negative towards any other group and may not promote unhealthy activities such as inviting minors to parties where alcohol is served.
    • Volunteers should be respectful of all students and families and should help everyone equally.
    • Groups/Organization who do not follow guidelines given in the Volunteer training will not be allowed to participate the next year.
