All applications must be turned in 3 business days prior to move-in, at the latest. A staff member will encode your card and provide you with keys to the apartment. After 5:00 pm or on the weekends, contact (719) 553-7762 to reach the Resident Assistant on-call.

     *Don't forget your student ID!

    Fall Move-In

    Updated 6/23/2023

    New Students – Thursday & Friday, August 17th & 18th from 7:00am to 12:00pm

This only applies to students who did not live in Housing at CSU Pueblo in the previous Spring.

    1. Student ID: If you do not have your student ID, you need to first go to the Auxiliary Services office on the 2nd floor of the Occhiato Student Center (OSC). The office is open 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am-3:00 pm on Saturday, August 19th. If they change their process, we will provide notice and new directions.
      1. You will also recieve your mailbox # and may update your meal plan.
      2. You must have a government-issued picture ID to obtain your student ID.
    2. Prior to Check-in: New Residents will receive an email with a link to sign-up for reserved timeslots. The timeslots will give two hours for the resident and their guests to check in and move in belongings. This will reduce the number of guests in the building and allow for easier move-in as there will not be as many people using the moving carts and the elevator. If you missed the email and text due to changing numbers or emails, you can also sign-up here:
    3. Check-in Process:
      1. During chosen timeslot: Residents should arrive at the beginning of their timeslot to ensure the flow of move-in and to cut down on the number of guests in the building and common areas.
      2. Go to the OSC first to receive your student ID, sign-up for a mailbox, and check in with Residence Life & Housing.
      3. New residents will begin the check-in process online when choosing a time. Most of the typical paperwork will be electronic. We highly encourage students to complete this prior to arriving on campus to decrease wait time and touchpoints.
      4. You will need to complete an emergency contact form. This is currently the only paper form that will be required. It is on paper so that RLH always has access to important information in times of need.
      5. After completing the screening process and obtaining your ID, you will go to a designated unloading zone based on your assignment:
        1. Residence Halls:
          1. Residents assigned to the 1st and 3rd floors will unload in Parking Lot N-8, the large lot located behind the halls accessed by Walking Stick BLVD.
          2. Residents assigned to the 2nd and 4th floors will unload in the “Housing Oval” located in front of the Halls just off Kremmling Drive.
        2. Walking Stick Apartment
          1. Residents will park in either Parking Lot W-5 or W-6 and walk to the Clubhouse, located in the middle of the complex, next to the basketball court.
      6. You are encouraged to bring a hand cart/dolly to assist with moving items. RLH has limited carts for use.
      7. Once inside your room, there will be a poster on the back of the room door. A QR code will provide a link to a Room Condition Report for you to notate any issues with the rooms. Anything beyond basic wear and tear should be noted as this form will be used to assess damages upon checkout. Not completing a form indicates that the room is good condition with only basic wear and tear. Failure to complete a form will not remove the student's responsibility for damages assessed at checkout.
      8. Unpack and settle in.

    * Students moving in earlier or later must contact the Residence Life Office at 719.549.2602 prior to moving in. An Early Arrival Request form is located on the forms page in the Housing portal where you completed your housing application.

Returning Students – Saturday through Sunday, 8/19-8/20, 8:00am-6:00pm

    1. Student ID: If you do not have your student ID, you need to first go to the Auxiliary Services office on the 2nd floor of the Occhiato Student Center. The office is open 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Auxiliary Services will also be open Saturday (8/19) from 8:00am-3:00pm. If you do not have an ID after Auxiliary Services closes, you will be issued a temporary card until Monday.
      1. You must have a government-issued picture ID to obtain your student ID.
    2. Housing Check-in: Returning residents will receive an email with a link to sign-up. Returning residents will be asked to indicate the day and time period they will arrive, such as Saturday before noon or Sunday after 1pm. If you missed the email and text due to changing numbers or emails, you can also sign-up here:
    3. You must have your student ID at this time because it must be activated as your room key.
    4. After obtaining your ID, you will go to a designated unloading zone based on your assignment:
      1. Residence Halls:
        1. Residents assigned to the 1st and 3rd floors will unload in Parking Lot N-8, the large lot located behind the halls accessed by Walking Stick BLVD.
        2. Residents assigned to the 2nd and 4th floors will unload in the “Housing Oval” located in front of the Halls just off of Kremling Drive.
      2. Walking Stick Apartment
        1. Residents will park in either Parking Lot W-5 or W-6 and walk to the Clubhouse, located in the middle of the complex, next to the basketball court.
    5. You will need to complete an emergency contact form. This is currently the only paper form that will be required. It is on paper so that RLH always has access to important information in times of need.
    6. You are encouraged to bring a hand cart/dolly to assist with moving items. RLH has limited carts for use.
    7. Once inside your room, you must complete a Room Condition Report for you to notate any issues with the rooms. Anything beyond basic wear and tear should be noted as this form will be used to assess damages upon checkout. Not completing a form indicates that the room is in good condition with only basic wear and tear. Not completing a form will not remove responsibility for the damages assessed.
    8. Unpack, settle in, and get ready for classes. Welcome back, ThunderWolves!

    *Don't forget your student ID!

The Move-In Sign-up form is located in your housing portal within your student PAWS account.
