Recognizing Our New Students at 2025 Convocation
New Student Convocation is a special time for CSU Pueblo to gather as a community and celebrate a joyous but also serious start of a new student’s academic journey with faculty and their strongest supporters: their family and friends. It is a time to reflect on the student’s commitment to the university’s traditions and values.
Most importantly, we, as a community, take a moment to recognize our wonderful new students, amazing supportive staff, and dynamic faculty who are committed to help our students thrive and change the world.

At the convocation ceremony you will:
- Receive your FREE "Pack On" t-shirt
- Be recognized and introduced to the CSU Pueblo President.
- Be welcomed by university President and Provost who will participate in and lead the students through the Academic Pledge and pinning ceremony.
- Learn the CSU-Pueblo Fight Song with your fellow classmates.
- All New Students gather at 2:30pm in front of the CSUP iconic image (FOLLOW SIGNAGE) Guests welcome!
Schedule
2:30-3:00 pm - Meet at the CSUP iconic image for class picture and receive the traditional Pack On t-shirt!
3:00-3:30 pm- Welcome and Academic Pledge
3:30-4:00 pm- Ice cream social with CSU Pueblo Ballet Folklórico, pep rally by the, band, cheer and dance team as well as our live mascots Roch and Wolfie, and boulder signing with SLiCE!

How to reserve your ticket if you are a STUDENT, FACULTY, or STAFF member:
- All new students attending convocation MUST register.
- You must create an account before you start your reservation (If you already created an account skip this step). THIS IS SEPARATE FROM YOUR E-ACCOUNT.
- You must use your CSU Pueblo provided email when creating the account to unlock the student, faculty, and staff ticket option. Don't have this yet or not sure? Please give us a call at (719) 549-2151.
- After you create your account you will be able to reserve your ticket for the 2025 New Student Convocation program.
- When reserving your ticket be sure to fill out all the information on the right hand side of the screen. This step is very important as it will decide what size shirt you get at New Student Convocation.
- After reserving your ticket be sure to send your ticket to your email or phone number. You may also print out your tickets at home using the "Print PDF Tickets" option.
How to Reserve your tickets if you are a PARENT or FAMILY member:
- You must create an account before you start your reservation.
- You can use any email your prefer to create your account. Stuck? Please give us a call at (719) 549-2151 or text questions to (719) 319-5225.
- After you create your account you will be able to reserve your ticket for the 2025 New Student Convocation.
- Select the GENERAL ADMISSION ticket option to reserve your tickets.
- After reserving your ticket be sure to send your ticket to your email or phone number. You may also print out your tickets at home using the "Print PDF Tickets" option.
