Mission

ThunderWolf New Student Orientation provides student-centered, intentional experiences to assist new students with their transition into the Colorado State University Pueblo community.

As a result of engaging in ThunderWolf New Student Orientation, new students will be able to:

Learning Outcome (CAS) Alignment

Identify academic, student, and social resources that are available to them.   

-Knowledge acquisition and application 

-Students gain essential information and skills for navigating college life successfully.

Recognize the student judicial code of conduct and Title IX policies.   

 - Humanitarianism and civic engagement

 - Promotes awareness of institutional policies, civic responsibility, and personal accountability.

Connect with faculty, staff, and students that will serve as on-going resources for them during their tenure at CSU Pueblo.  

- Interpersonal competence

Intrapersonal development

-Builds communication skills, self-efficacy, and support networks.

Locate involvement opportunities on campus, including campus events, student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, campus recreation, and leadership development programs.    

Knowledge acquisition

-Encourages engagement, leadership, and social integration.
