International Students

International Student Orientation takes place the week prior to classes starting in both Spring and Fall. Please note that attending CSU Pueblo's General Student Orientation hosted by Student Leadership Involvement Career and Engagement (SLICE) does NOT meet visa requirements as it does not include information specific to international students on campus. We strongly recommend students attend both orientations to better support their start as part of the Pack!

Orientation is a great place to ask questions regarding transfer credits, the registration process, and student employment. Students will also meet CSU Pueblo's Designated School Officials (DSOs) and support staff who can provide guidance during their time on campus.

Financial aid may not be granted to those who fail to attend orientation! Attendance at International Student Orientation is a mandatory part of students' visa compliance. For questions on International Student Orientation please contact Lilia Myers Van Pelt, International Student Advisor at lilia.myersvanpelt@csupueblo.edu.

This orientation is mandatory for all international students.

After Orientation

After attending the International Orientation, students should meet with their academic success coach or advisor to schedule classes and ensure full-time enrollment. It is important that students remember that 75% of their classes should be in-person to meet immigration requirements. If students have questions, they can reach out to Lilia Myers Van Pelt, International Student Advisor at lilia.myersvanpelt@csupueblo.edu.

All students must maintain full-time enrollment, due to the US Immigration Services, in order to remain lawfully present in the United States.

Tuition and all student fees are due, or a payment plan after registering for classes. Please see the Tuition and Fees.
