Music Tech Lab and Reserving the Recital Hall

Music Technology Lab

The Music Technology Lab is available throughout the day for student use in music applications, and will be available during certain evening hours (hours posted on the door of the Lab). The computers are linked via MIDI to electronic keyboards. A variety of software programs is available, including Finale, Practica Musica, and Music Ace. If you need assistance, please see the Lab Manager. Students are encouraged to use this effective tool, and an orientation session will be scheduled early in the semester.

Reserving the Recital Hall

Daily use of Hoag Hall is limited to ensembles, percussionists, organists and those who have reserved the auditorium through the Hoag Hall Manager. The facility should be reserved with the Department of Music Administrative Assistant. Recital dates as well as dress rehearsal dates should be set well in advance.
