About the Department

placeholder

The mission of the Department of Music at Colorado State University Pueblo is to prepare undergraduate students to function professionally in their chosen field of music within the larger context of a liberal education, to provide artistic enrichment for the community, and to serve as an artistic resource.

The department prepares students to function professionally in their chosen field of music within the larger context of a liberal education, to provide artistic enrichment for the community, and to serve as an artistic resource.

The preparation provided by our programs allows students to function effectively as performing artists, composers, audio engineers, songwriters, record producers, and much more!

We have a collaborative department culture, where we like to recognize our student accomplishments and outstanding performance.

We focus on small classes, facilitating hands-on experience, interactions with faculty, and opportunities for undergraduate studies.
