Get to know me
My personal approach is humanistic, offering a supportive atmosphere, creative discovery, authenticity, and a person-centered experience. I have an interest in personal identity formation and the personas we create to help us through different periods of our lives.

I specialize in art therapy, including directive and studio-based approaches, to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and pulls from Gestalt, Jungian, and psychodynamic theories. I also use behavioral techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Get to know me
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years of experience in private practice and 10 years of experience in a college setting, I am dedicated to helping people navigate life challenges and learn lifelong skills to maintain well-being.
In recent years, I have embraced alternative treatments that complement traditional talk therapy and promote a more holistic approach to mental health care. My newest area of interest is increasing services to meet the needs of male students on campus.

My work includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Integrative Mind Body Trauma Work, Holistic Wellness Education, and Solution Focused Therapy. I am trained in a 5-point auricular protocol with needles called Acuwellness, TAPPAS, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Brain Synchronization Therapy.
