About RHA

  •

    Who Are We?

The Residence Hall Association at CSU-Pueblo is part of the largest student-run organization in the world (NACURH). We are dedicated to enhancing the university experience for students living in the residence halls. We facilitate campus programs throughout the year, work with the brand new hall councils within the residence halls, attend conferences, and advocate for students.

  •

What is the Residence Hall Association?

RHA is the student led governing body of all residence halls on campus, similar to a Student Council. We strive to connect students to the CSU-Pueblo campus and residence halls while providing leadership opportunities. We host events and aim to create an enjoyable experience for students during their time in our residence halls.

  •

    Why Should You Join RHA?

RHA is a great way to meet and interact with people from across campus. It keeps you connected to events and issues. You can share ideas and information about programs in your hall. Coming to our meetings allows your voice to be heard and impacts the community that you live in.

  •

    What Do We Do?

The Residence Hall Association is housed under the same department as RAs but our job descriptions are quite different. RHA is the voice of the students living on-campus. Our main concerns are improving the on-campus living experience by advocating for change and improvements while providing free events for our students. We also offer leadership development in ways of leadership positions and opportunities to attend regional and national conferences.

  •

    What is NACURH?

NACURH is the National Association of College and University Residence Hall. NACURH is the leading international organization advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. It is an organization of students committed to developing leadership, honoring diversity, recognizing achievement, promoting scholarship, as well as stimulating engagement and involvement among students who reside in college and university residence halls. Through programs and services, NACURH provides leadership opportunities for students, shares residence hall programming resources and best practices, and coordinates activities with appropriate professional associations and business partners.

Each Hall Council consists of 4 different executive board positions and general members. The Executives and general members advocate and program for the community. Check out your community and get involved today!
