Student Organizations
Student organizations play an integral role in the educational and social life on campus at CSU Pueblo. Recognized student organizations demonstrate a close affiliation with the university and share a common vision in promoting the university's extra-curricular and co-curricular missions. There are several categories of student organizations, including academic, cultural, honor, specific interests, athletic, and more.

Club Registration
Requirements to Create a Club
The first step to starting any club is to make sure that a similar club does not already exist. If a similar club is not already active on campus you can create a club that fits your club's mission and purpose.
The process of creating a club
To create a club, you need at least four currently enrolled CSU Pueblo students to serve as club officers. A constitution is required, and students can see an example in the Student Organization Handbook. You also need a CSU Pueblo staff or faculty member to serve as an advisor. Club membership must be open to any and all interested students at Colorado State University Pueblo.
Officers
Officers are those who have the responsibility of representing the club. Officers have access to reserve space on campus with Auxiliary Services and are responsible for gaining approvals and submitting paperwork on behalf of the club to the Student Engagement and Leadership office. Officers are the people who have a position of authority in a hierarchical organization. Officer roles should be outlined in the club's constitution.
Members
Members are students who are in a club and contribute to decisions and ideas, without holding an officer role. Membership is open to all students, and participation may not be limited.
A club's constitution is a document of principles, established procedures, and structure of the club. The purpose of a club constitution is to serve as a guiding document when addressing any concerns or issues a club may have now or in the future. A constitution should include information on membership requirements, officer roles, officer election and removal process, financial decision-making processes, and any other information that is vital to the club's existence. Find a constitution template in the Resources tab.
Registering a New Club
A club officer will need to apply through Involve. Once on the website, please go to the top right corner and sign in. If you do not have an account, click on 'Create Account' to claim your username. Use an email with your name, not the c#. For example: fabian.sigalaorozco@csupueblo.edu. After logging in, go to 'Organizations' and click on 'Create New.
