Office of the Dean of Students

The Office of the Dean of Students is here to help you grow both in and out of the classroom.

We support the University's mission by offering lots of opportunities for you to learn, develop, and reach your best potential. This includes resources, services, activities, support networks, and working with other deans, faculty, and the Associated Student Government.

If you have any concerns, the Dean's Office is here to help resolve them. We focus on student learning and personal development through our core values and goals.

Absentee Notification

The Office of the Dean of Students provides Class Absence Notifications for students with documented emergent situations and extenuating circumstances. Formal documentation or verification must be submitted including the dates in which the student was or will be absent from class.

Student Concerns and Complaints

At CSU Pueblo, we aim to provide the best student experience. If you have an unresolved complaint, please complete this Student Formal Complaint Form. We are dedicated to resolving complaints and improving our programs and services
Certification

Dean's Certification

A letter of clearance (Dean's Certification) verifies that you, as a CSU Pueblo student, have not violated University policies or faced disciplinary actions. These letters are typically required by graduate schools, state bar associations, government agencies, or employers.

Pack CARES

If you are worried about a CSU Pueblo student who may be struggling or whose behavior is concerning, please submit a Pack CARES Referral.  Even if you aren't sure whether to report an incident, it’s better to submit the information you have and someone from the Pack CARES Team will follow-up with you.

Incident Reports

If you have knowledge that a member of the University community may have violated the Student Code of Conduct, please use this incident report form to notify the Office of Student Conduct and Case Management.

Welcome

Dear Students:

Welcome to the Pack at Colorado State University Pueblo! As your Dean of Students, I am here to assist you throughout your collegiate experiences both inside and outside of the classroom from start to finish. My philosophy is that students are first!

The Division of Student Affairs is the place where possibilities and opportunities are life changing. Student Affairs’ staff and students will connect you with university programs, activities, services, and resources.  All departments underneath the umbrella of Student Affairs are here to enhance your learning, promote growth, and to support the development of the whole person-student.
