Academic Advising
Your advisor can help you select courses, understand degree requirements, connect with campus resources, and stay on track toward graduation. Most new students begin with an academic advisor and later transition to a faculty advisor in their department.
PACK Center
These extended hours apply specifically to advising services in the PACK Center.
Walk-in advising: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Appointments: 1–4 p.m.
Walk-in advising: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
No appointment is required during walk-in hours.
Understanding Your Advising Path
CSU Pueblo students may work with both academic advisors and faculty advisors. Your advising path depends on your major, student status, and progress toward your degree.
New students in most undergraduate majors begin with a primary-role academic advisor. Your academic advisor helps you complete onboarding, register for courses, understand university requirements, and prepare for a successful start at CSU Pueblo.
Some programs have a different advising structure and may connect students directly with a school, program, or faculty advisor.
As you progress in your program, you may transition from your academic advisor to a faculty advisor within your department. Faculty advisors provide major-specific guidance, help you plan advanced coursework, and support your progress through graduation.

New students in these majors connect with Kenneth for onboarding and early academic advising. Continuing students may transition to a faculty advisor within their department.

Christine or another PACK Center team member will help Onboard Only students complete their initial advising steps before transitioning them to their department.

Additional Support
These student groups receive advising or academic support through a specialized program, office, or coordinator.
Dual Enrollment, Senior to Sophomore, and Concurrent Enrollment students receive support through High School Programs.
Online students receive flexible, individualized advising through CSU Pueblo Online.
COSI Scholars work with Anuschka Macha for scholarship guidance, scholarship requirements, and connections to university resources.
Pre-nursing students receive guidance on prerequisites, course sequencing, university resources, and preparation for application to the nursing program.
