Who is your Faculty Mentor?

The faculty mentor is your contact for:

  • Details of your major or minor, course sequencing & graduation
  • Department-specific information and activities
  • Research or project opportunities
  • Career choices and experiential learning
  • Information on grad school applications

The academic success coach is your Pack Center contact for general advising and degree planning in first two years.

How are mentors assigned?

Faculty mentors are assigned when you declare a major, and linked within your Starfish support network. Students may have more than one mentor for 2nd majors, minors, etc.

When to contact your mentor

You will be contacted by your faculty mentor once a semester.

Anytime you would like assistance, please contact and schedule an appointment with your mentor, or reach out to one from any department if you are exploring program options.
