Message from the Dean

Greetings from the Dean's office!

I am delighted that you have visited the College of Science and Mathematics website. I hope you find what you are looking for, but if not, please let me know. The College of Science and Mathematics is committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. The faculty are an energetic and dedicated bunch, who are driven in their pursuit of knowledge within their academic disciplines, and dedicated to transferring their knowledge, expertise and excitement to their students inside the classroom and laboratory. Faculty do their best to help each student become a scientifically literate critical thinker, whether inside the classroom or in the laboratory. Visit the College newsletters for information about just some of these activities.

The study of science and mathematics is an exciting way to understand the universe and our ever-changing role in it. The fundamental truths, practical applications and new-found discoveries that come from pushing the boundaries of knowledge can invigorate the soul and provide a sincere sense of satisfaction. I’m excited that many of our students work collaboratively with faculty and staff mentors as well as their peers to not only immerse themselves in science and math, but also have many opportunities to educate and excite the community and future generations about these advances. I invite you to joins us in the discoveries, and applications, of science and math here at CSU-Pueblo and welcome any conversations, opportunities and suggestions for how we might help you realize your dreams.
