Program Overview

The Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering program at CSU Pueblo prepares students for advanced projects in industrial engineering and operations.The program combines the study of industrial with systems engineering courses, so that students may understand core knowledge to drive techniques approach to design and analysis of complex, human-machine systems.

Students will develop knowledge and skills in the discipline of industrial & systems engineering studies to professional levels in the following areas: manufacturing and service industries, health care systems, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations

Students will apply fundamental industrial engineering knowledge in the areas of facility planning and design and operations planning and control, and use fundamental industrial engineering tools including optimization and simulation. 

The Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering at CSU Pueblo prepares students for success and advancement in careers, and an advanced degree, especially at the doctoral level.

3+2 Program

The Master of Science in Engineering is a 3+2 program that allows qualified undergraduate students to complete a BS (or other undergraduate degrees of choice) and pair it with a Master's program. Students would then obtain both undergraduate level and graduate-level degrees in as little as five years.

    IS THE GRE REQUIRED FOR ADMITTANCE?

    The GRE is a requirement for admittance into the Master's Program, and we use the score in admissions decisions and advising, but we do not have a minimum score.

    IS THERE A GRE WAIVER AVAILABLE?

    Students can obtain a GRE waiver in certain situations. Please contact the Master's Program Director for details.

    AM I QUALIFIED FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?

    You may be qualified for one or more scholarships offered by CSU Pueblo. You must have an updated FAFSA on file with Student Financial Services. Visit the Scholarships page for more information.

    WHO CAN I TALK TO ABOUT MY FINANCIAL AID OR MY BILL?

    It is important to check your PAWS account regularly to ensure your aid and bill look correct. Student Financial Services is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is available via phone at 719.549.2753 email at financialaid@csupueblo.edu, and take walk-ins.
