Student Clubs & Organizations

Students are encouraged to get involved in the School of Engineering by joining student clubs, attending activities and seminars, and participating in research or field experiences.

How to join: Contact the Department of Engineering to apply for membership in any club.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) — Student Chapter

The ASME Student Chapter supports undergraduate students interested in mechanical engineering through professional development, leadership opportunities, and technical activities.

  • Career-focused programs

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) — Student Chapter

IEEE allows students to explore electrical and electronics engineering beyond the classroom while developing leadership skills, engaging in the community, and building professional connections.

Associated General Contractors (AGC) — Student Chapter

The AGC Student Chapter connects students to the construction industry through field trips, speakers, workshops, competitions, and professional development opportunities.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) — Student Chapter

ASCE brings together future civil engineers through competitions, outreach, networking, and leadership development.

Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) — Student Chapter

The IISE Student Chapter at CSU Pueblo is a student-led community for those interested in industrial engineering, operations research, and analytics.

  • Technical workshops and hands-on learning
  • Industry speakers, projects, and competitions
  • Open to all majors — no prior experience required
