Pack Family Orientation

We value our ThunderWolf families and know that you provide a very important role in the success of your college student.  It’s important to us that families understand ways they can support their student throughout their college experience.  In conjunction with New Student Orientation, we will offer special online programs for family members to learn about available resources and services for students.

All new students are required to complete Pack Preview Online Orientation before August 20th 2022.  The mandatory Pack Preview Online Orientation will be available beginning in June 2022 through your students PAWs account.

We are very excited to offer an in-person Pack Family Orientation in conjunction with New Student Orientation. Parent & family members will be able to engage with faculty, staff, and learn about resources available at CSU Pueblo. Additionally, students may attend an optional in-person orientation to engage with faculty, staff, and other new students.

We will have two in person dates to choose from this year:

  • July 23rd
  • August 20th

Overnight Accommodations

NEW: We have worked with the Residence Life & Housing (RLH) team to provide overnight accommodations at a low rate for parents, guardians, family, or friends who may need lodging for a short time. While guests are not currently allowed to stay the night in student rooms, RLH has identified separate rooms for short stay opportunities within their building used for conferences. The suites provided will mirror your students, but RLH will include basic linens, such as bed linens, pillows, and bathroom linens.

If you would like to apply for a short stay with RLH, please submit the Short Stay Form.
