Pack Family Orientation

We value our ThunderWolf families and know that you provide a very important role in the success of your college student.  It’s important to us that families understand ways they can support their student throughout their college experience.  In conjunction with New Student Orientation, we will offer special online programs for family members to learn about available resources and services for students.

All new students are required to complete Pack Preview Online Orientation before August 22nd, 2020.  The mandatory Pack Preview Online Orientation will be available beginning May 11, 2020 through your students PAWs account.

Additionally, students may attend an optional in-person orientation to engage with faculty, staff, and other new students.  This year, we will also be offering an online only Pack Family Orientation for family members to engage virtually with faculty, staff, and learn about resources available at CSU Pueblo.

    When is Pack Family Orientation

There will not be any in-person Pack Family Orientation dates for parent and family members this year. We will be limiting the number of people on campus for the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.

No, participating in the online Parent & Family Orientation is optional, but we have some great programs planned for parents and family members.

Why should I participate in the online Parent and Family Orientation?

We understand that you play an important role in your student’s success. Parent and Family Orientation is your opportunity to become familiar with all things CSU Pueblo as you support your student through their transition.  You will virtually interact with the faculty and staff behind the services and resources that will play an important role in your student’s CSU Pueblo experience. You will also receive valuable tips about what it means to be a CSU Pueblo Family member and the ways that you can be most helpful to your student during this transition and beyond.
