Living Learning Communities

Living Learning Communities offer an opportunity for students to find peers who share their same interests and academic pursuits but also take part in experiences relating to their majors and interests. From interaction with faculty to outdoor excursions and much more, build upon your on-campus experience by joining one of our seven different Living Learning Communities.

Joining is easy! Just select the Living Learning Community you are interested in on your housing application or call the Residence Life & Housing office at 719-549-2602 if you have already submitted your housing application.

Outdoor Adventures

The Outdoor Adventures (OA) Floor is a community designed around a shared interest in exploring the great outdoors. Residents in this community will benefit from outdoor experiences designed by CSU Pueblo’s Outdoor Pursuits program.

Exploring the great outdoors or are working on a degree towards Outdoor Recreation, Wildlife & Natural Resources, or Outdoor Physical Education.  

Music

The Music Living Learning Community is designed around a shared love of music. Whether you are seeking a degree in the music field or are a music enthusiast, this is a community built for you. Residents in this community will enjoy music related programming both driven socially and academically. Listening to, creating, and exploring music or are working on a degree for Composition & Music Theory, Music, and Music & Audio Production.

Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math

The Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) Living Learning Community is designed around a shared to pursue hobbies and careers around the STEM disciplines. Residents in this community will be exposed to programming encouraging their academic and personal success within STEM. Exploring STEM related hobbies or are working on a degree in the STEM field.

Health Professions

The Health Professions Living Learning Community contains experiences designed to complement the academic and personal pursuits of individuals looking to help others mind and body. Residents in this community will benefit from opportunities to take a deeper dive into the health professions field. Majoring in or are passionate about Nursing, Athletic Training, Biology, Exercise Science, or other health related fields

Social Sciences

The Social Sciences Living Learning Community is designed around the academic pursuit of Social Work, Psychology, and Sociology as well as an interest in social and economic justice. Residents in this community will experience programming and opportunities to learn more about these fields and have an effect on their greater community. Social and economic justice or are pursuing a degree in Social Work, Psychology, and Sociology.

Edge

EDGE is the Sophomore Year Experience Program and stands for Education, Development, Growth, and Experience. EDGE will empower sophomores to succeed during their second year by providing tools for academic success, professional development, and a healthy lifestyle. Gaining opportunities and developing skills that will help you be successful throughout you collegiate career and beyond.

Honors

The Honors Living Learning Community is designed for students participating in the honors program to live among other academically focused scholars. Note: Only honors students will be allowed to participate in this LLC and will live on a designated floor in Greenhorn Hall.
