About the Department

Welcome to the Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, and Geography! Our department arms students with the tools they need to succeed in a dynamic and competitive global environment.

Students are trained by exceptional faculty in soft and hard skills via interactive and engaging class simulation, lecture and debate, internships, and opportunities for research with faculty. These skills prepare students for a variety of careers in law, military, private enterprise, state, and federal government, and graduate school.

Our program allows this type of training via small class sizes and an emphasis on student development and success. Our faculty specialize and instruct students in areas such as Civil Rights, Constitutional Law, and History, Foreign Policy, History of Ancient Greece, International Relations, Peace Studies, Philosophy and Philosophy of Religion, and many other areas.
