    A microcredential is a short, skills-based recognition that demonstrates proficiency in specific competencies. These credentials are designed to support career growth, career change, or professional development.

    Are microcredentials for credit?

    Microcredentials can be credit, non-credit, or a combination of both up to 9 credit hours.

    Can I earn more than one microcredential?

    Yes! Microcredentials have stand-alone value and may be stackable to earn a higher credential, including certificates or degrees.

    Will a microcredential appear on a transcript?

    Learners earn a shareable digital badge and certificate of completion after successfully finishing the microcredential. While individual courses appear on transcripts, the microcredential itself is not listed like a certificate or degree.
