Message from the Dean
Welcome to the Hasan School of Business (HSB).
We take pride in providing a unique personal touch which sets us apart from some of our competitors. Our small classes encourage a high degree of faculty-student and student-student interaction. We believe in active learning; consequently, students have many opportunities to develop personal and team skills on projects and real cases. Our curriculum develops student expertise in creative problem solving, quantitative analysis, technology applications, team leadership, written and oral communication, change management, global awareness, professionalism, and entrepreneurship.
All of our business programs are fully accredited by AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Fewer than 5% of all business programs worldwide are AACSB accredited. Accreditation by AACSB is your assurance that our programs meet the highest management education standards and leverage best practices by renowned business schools worldwide.
We encourage our students to be actively involved in student organizations both in the school of business and across campus. Developing leadership and networking skills is an important aspect of extracurricular activities and will help to broaden the student's academic experience. In addition, many of our students complete internships or take an international exchange.
To keep HSB students on track towards graduation, we provide required personal student advising by professional academic advisors within the school of business. Students also have access to free tutoring available to every business student.

- Recent HSB graduates are currently employed at such companies as Evraz, Hewlett Packard, the Oracle Corporation, FedEx, Lockheed Martin, MCI, General Dynamics, BF Goodrich Aerospace, Trane, Parkview Medical Center, Wells Fargo, the Target Distribution Center, the Mirage Hotel and Casino, GSA, Kraft Foods, Lowe's, and the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association.
- Full-time faculty teach nearly 90 percent of all courses which creates opportunities for a high degree of student-faculty interaction.
- Our 3+2 Program, which is available to all majors at CSU Pueblo, enables students to complete both their bachelor’s degree and MBA degree in five years.
The Hasan School offers undergraduate majors in Accounting, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, Marketing, and Economics along with emphasis areas in Finance, Agricultural Business, Risk and Security Management, Sports Industry Management, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Software Development, and Information Technology. At the graduate level, we offer the MBA degree both on campus, and 100% online, with emphasis on areas in Cybersecurity, Health Care Administration, and Public Administration.
