  • COVID-19 Update: Remote Operations in Effect

Until further notice, CSU Pueblo is serving our students and the public in a remote model.

HSB Learning Center

It is the Hasan School of Business Learning Center’s mission to provide comprehensive academic support for a diverse group of students and to help them become successful, independent and life-long learners. One of our primary goals is to create an open atmosphere of learning for all students who need assistance. Central to our mission is the proviso that each student is treated with respect, consideration of his/her individual needs, and empathy. Through exceptional service, high academic standards, various tutoring methods, a compassionate staff, and regular self-assessment and improvement, we strive to be recognized as a valuable student services resource on the CSU-Pueblo campus.

Tutoring Service

Tutoring assistance is available to HSB students enrolled and regularly attending the content course for which the request is made. Tutoring is a support service and not a substitute for classroom instruction. It is strongly suggested that students work closely with their instructors in conjunction with tutoring.

To request tutoring services for HSB courses, please contact HSB Tutor Coordinator Sarah Mize at with the subject line "Tutor Request" and state the specific class you need help with, as well as your phone number. You may also contact Sarah directly at 719.549.2175 to request tutoring support.

Resources for Tutors

If you are interested in helping others, want a great teaching experience, have good communication skills, are dependable, have enthusiasm for the subject matter and received a grade of A or B in the course being tutored, please complete and application, and submit to Sarah Mize, HSB 230 or call at 719.549.2175. Volunteer Tutors are also kindly accepted. Paid tutors average about 5-10 hours per week and cannot exceed 20 hours per week. This Student Hourly position pays $12.00 an hour.

We have a number of individuals working on a plan to ensure that we are prepared to take care of our students and employees in the event our campus is directly impacted by the coronavirus.
