Scholarships

Although automatic scholarships are not awarded to everyone selected for the PLP, students have the opportunity to qualify for scholarships through their association with the program. All PLP scholarships are dependent upon a student’s participation in the PLP program and adherence to PLP academic standards.
  •  

    El Pomar Scholarship (4)

    $2000 awarded each year to sophomore and junior PLP students who have applied for and been selected to serve as El Pomar Scholars in the El Pomar Student Leadership Experience (SLE).
  •  

    Wells Fargo Scholarship (number to be determined each year)

    Awarded  to a select number of PLP student scholars who have need and have been determined to be in good academic and program standing as recommended through the PLP.

  •  

    Oeschle Family Foundation Scholarship (1)

    $500 awarded each year to an incoming freshman PLP student scholar from Pueblo County as recommended through the PLP.
  •  

    Gardner Champlin Scholarship (2)

    $2500 awarded each year to an incoming freshman PLP student scholar from southeastern Colorado. Scholarship continues through four years if student remains in good academic and program standing. Awarded through the Southern Colorado Community Foundation as recommended through the PLP.

    Barbara Fortino Scholarship (1)

    $1000 awarded to a current PLP scholar who has need and has been determined to be in good academic and program standing as recommended through the PLP.

  •  

    Rawlings Foundation Scholarship (1)

    $4,000 awarded to a current PLP scholar from southern Colorado who has need and has been determined to be in good academic and program standing as recommended through the PLP.

  •  

    Junior League of Pueblo Scholarship (1)

    $1000 awarded annually to one female PLP sophomore, junior, or senior scholar who has both good academic and program standing and is committed to the Junior League values of volunteerism, leadership, and community service.
  •  

    Rotary Club 43 Scholarship (1)

    $500 awarded annually to a PLP student scholar who has need and have been determined to have both good academic and program standing as recommended through the PLP.
  •  

    Legacy Bank Scholarship (1)

    $500 awarded to a current PLP scholar from southern Colorado who has need and has been determined to be in good academic and program standing as recommended through the PLP.

  •  

    Harold and Ruth Robinson Scholarship (1)

    $1250 awarded to a current PLP scholar  who has need and has been determined to be in good academic and program standing as recommended through the PLP.
