President's Leadership Program
Welcome to the President's Leadership Program! The President's Leadership Program (PLP) is an academic leadership program at Colorado State University Pueblo designed to develop multi-culturally competent transformational leaders, who will serve Colorado and the communities in which they live and work. PLP is one of CSU Pueblo's answers to Pueblo and southern Colorado's growing need for competent and effective leaders entering the workforce after college.
PLP scholars work and learn in community, educational, and corporate settings to develop skills throughout their participation in the PLP program. The President’s Leadership Program is a competitive, cohort-based, multidisciplinary program with a strong experiential emphasis that leads to a minor in Leadership Studies.
Here are a few very good reasons to get involved in the President's Leadership Program:

- Academic credit towards a leadership studies minor.
- Service and experiential learning activities.
- Getting to know a select group of students on campus throughout your college career.
This leadership program is to create multiculturally-competent transformational leaders who will serve the communities in which they live and work. Crucial to the development of participants’ leadership skills and practices are the acquisition of intercultural competence, social consciousness, and civic responsibility, as well as ethical and altruistic attitudes and behaviors.
