About Us

The CSU Pueblo Center for Honors and Leadership (CHL) was established by the Office of the Provost in 2019 to house the University’s Honors and Leadership Studies minors and align campus efforts in these areas under the auspices of one center. The Colorado State University Pueblo Center for Honors and Leadership houses the Honors and Leadership Studies minors, bolstering the unique strengths and identities of each while maximizing synergies and opportunities that develop and enhance both programs.

The Center facilitates experiential learning, service-learning, community engagement, and training in ethics across both programs as well as life-long academic and professional planning for each student. We also offer services to the University community at large in support of honors societies and other leadership and scholarly activities promoted to all students.

We bring together a broad array of people to help students plan their future after CSU Pueblo, whether that be preparing the materials that lead to graduate school, helping craft the experiences that launch directly into a career, or providing the key opportunities that prepare for the leadership roles in the community or workplace after graduation.
