GED Testing at CSU Pueblo Testing Center
Who can take this exam?
- Anyone 17 or older (You are not required to be a CO resident)
- 16-year-olds can submit a GED age waiver request located at ged.com
- 15 or younger cannot take the GED in the state of Colorado
How do I schedule an exam?
- Create an account at ged.com and schedule an exam
- Call the GED Testing Service registration line at 1-877-392-6433
- Open Monday through Friday 7 AM- 7 PM CT
What Subjects will I be tested on?
- Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 minutes)
- Science (90 Minutes)
- Mathematical Reasoning (115 Minutes)
- Social Studies (70 Minutes)
What is the cost?
- As of October 2025 it is $43.50 per subject
Is there any assistance to help pay for my GED?
- Check with your current employer to see if they offer funds to assist with the cost.
How do I prepare for the exam?

How can I get accommodations for my disability?

What do I need to know for test day?
- You will receive a confirmation email from PearsonVUE when you have completed your scheduling that will contain important information on what you will need for test day. Be sure you read it in its entirety so that you are prepared on day of testing. Failing to follow the guidelines and provide the proper identification could result in having to reschedule.
How and when do I get my test scores?
- You will receive an email when your scores are posted in your GED account. Allow up to 3 business days.
I’ve earned my GED. Now what?
First of all, congratulations!
- Instructions on getting your diploma will be stated in your ged.com account or you can go directly to diplomasender.com
- You will need your account number from ged.com found at the top right-hand corner of your dashboard. See the screenshot below.
