ACCUPLACER Testing

ACCUPLACER Placement Tests

• College Board ACCUPLACER Placement Tests are proctored by appointment in the Testing Center, Library and Academic Resources Center, Suite 251.
• The cost is $5.00 per test, payable at the CSU Pueblo Cashier, Testing Center (credit or debit card only), or through the following link: Pay Here! 
• Tests are online and are not timed. It is recommended that you allow yourself approximately one hour per test.
• A maximum of two attempts per section are allowed per academic semester ($5.00 per section per attempt).
• On test day, a receipt and a current picture ID are required (e.g. driver's license/passport/school student ID card). Cell phones, calculators, and dictionaries are not allowed in the testing room. Scratch paper and pencil will be provided as well as an Individual Score Report.

The Testing Center administers the following ACCUPLACER tests: Writing; Reading; Arithmetic; Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics; Advanced Algebra and Functions.

It is the responsibility of the student to know which test to schedule. If you do not know which test you need to take, please check with your academic advisor before scheduling a testing appointment.

Test Cut Scores and Course Placement Guidelines*

*ACCUPLACER, SAT, and ACT test scores are valid for five years. Scores older than five years cannot be used for course placement.
