First Saturday of each month: 1:00–5:00 p.m.

Placement Testing

ACCUPLACER, SAT & Chemistry Placement

Use the sections below to review fees, scheduling, preparation resources, and placement guidelines. Most Testing Center services require an appointment.

Testing is by appointment only and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance through RegisterBlast.

  • Math: $10 (starts with QRAS; Arithmetic and/or AAF may follow based on QRAS score)

Which exam should I take?

We strongly recommend contacting an academic advisor before scheduling an exam or enrolling in a course. If you do not have an advisor, please contact the Pack Center.

Math

  • Fee: $10
  • Always starts in QRAS. Arithmetic and AAF may follow depending on your QRAS score.

  • Advanced Algebra and Functions (AAF)
  • Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QRAS)

By scheduling on our site you are agreeing to abide by our rules and regulations. A copy will be sent to you via email once you have successfully scheduled. You will need to provide a valid form of identification on test day. Please review the ID requirements tab located on the left of this page.

How can I send my scores to CSUP?
You will need to email testing.center@csupueblo.edu to start the process.

  • Scores can not be sent from a personal email or unaccredited school

How can I send my scores to another institution?
You will need to email testing.center@csupueblo.edu to start the process.

Is there a remote option?
You will need to email testing.center@csupueblo.edu to start the process.

Voucher request (testing elsewhere):
If you are planning to take the ACCUPLACER at another institution and they are requesting a voucher, email testing.center@csupueblo.edu to start the process.

Test Cut Scores and Course Placement Guidelines

The image below shows the general pathway for math. You can self advise with this matrix located here. It is always best to reach out to your advisor to ensure you are registering for the correct course.

* ACCUPLACER, SAT, and ACT test scores are valid for five years. Scores older than five years cannot be used for course placement

All SAT exams are scheduled and paid through College Board.
