“Our swimming team is excited to share their passion for the sport, and water safety information, with young swimmers in Pueblo,” CSU Pueblo's Women's Swimming Head Coach, Susanne Divelbiss, said. “We hear of so many heartbreaking losses that happen each year because children are not able to swim or float. Our team is excited to partner with No More Underwater to help kids learn how to swim and reduce the number of accidental drownings.”
On average, 950 children drown in the U.S. every year. No More Under partners with colleges and universities to support a five-day learn-to-swim program. Up to 20 youth participants will be selected by No More Under. For more information, please contact Coach Divelbiss at 719.248.8762.
