In 2022, Colorado State University Pueblo Foundation implemented the Next Gen Council comprised of young professionals and CSU Pueblo alumni under 40 years of age wanting to make an impact on CSU Pueblo students and young alumni.

The Next Gen Council’s mission is to engage and connect with young adults and alumni to promote higher education and support efforts designed to supplement and enhance their future. The Next Gen Council meets quarterly to identify student and alumni needs, select the Next Gen Council scholarship recipient, and work with professionals in the community who can help mentor students and alums.

“The Next Gen Council, in conjunction with CSU Pueblo Foundation, works collaboratively to build pathways for tomorrow’s leaders,” said Josh Croy, Next Gen Council chair. “As an alumnus of CSU Pueblo and a financial investment professional working in Pueblo, it is important to me to see CSU Pueblo students succeed.”
