PUEBLO—Colorado State University Pueblo celebrates Homecoming and Family Weekend 2022, as the campus and community are invited to participate in the events from Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2.

Events for the week include:

Friday, September 30, 2022

Welcome Kick Off: 5:30 pm-6:30 pm

Location: Pack Patio

Join us at our Welcome Reception. Mix and mingle with fellow Pack families to share experiences, make new friends, and plan tomorrow’s activities! Take some time out from socializing to enjoy student performances and snack on tasty appetizers and refreshments.**Including the Alumni VIP section

Pup Zone: 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

Location: Pack Patio

Children-friendly area as we welcome our “Future Thunder Wolves”! Have fun making slime and decorating “Future ThunderWolves” tote bags. For two hours or while supplies last, the SEAL office will host a cookie-making station!! We look forward to seeing you! **Alumni Families Welcome

S-Camp: 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

Location: Pack Patio

Siblings can spend time with CSU Pueblo students with games of corn hole and have fun decorating “Future CSU Pueblo Alumni” T-shirts. For two hours or while supplies last, the SEAL office will host an ice cream bar!!

Campus Tours: 6:30 pm -8 pm

Location: Pack Patio

Stroll through our amazing campus with current SEAL tour guides who share their stories while presenting the history and the traditions that make CSU Pueblo. Get a glimpse of daily life as a student while visiting key buildings such as the campus library and the Occhiatto Student Center. **Have you not been back on campus lately? All alumni are welcome to join in on the campus tour.

Associated Students’ Government Bonfire: 8 pm- 10 pm

Location: Hill above Thunderbowl

Join us for our annual pep rally and watch the bonfire that represents our burning desire to beat our opponent!! This is a Pack tradition you do not want to miss! Enjoy amazing performances from CSU Pueblo Cheer team, Dance team, and Marching Band! PACK ON! **Alumni encouraged to join current students for this throwback pep rally!

Pack Family Welcome Lounge: 9 am-1 pm

Location: Pack Patio

Make the Welcome Lounge your first stop upon arriving at CSU Pueblo. Check-in with us to receive your Pack Family Weekend name badge, which you'll need to get access to all the weekend's terrific events. You will also receive a CSU Pueblo Family Weekend program, with session locations and details, plus a surprise gift. Staff will be on hand at the Welcome Lounge to answer questions and offer guidance on the weekend’s activities. Stop by anytime to ask questions or reconnect throughout the day. Relax in the shade, enjoy a continental breakfast, and meet up with your student. Pose with family members at our photo booth.

CSU Pueblo Fine Art Gallery: 10 am-1:30 pm

Location: lower lobby of Hoag Hall in the Capps Capozzolo Academic Center for the Arts.

The CSU Pueblo Fine Art Gallery is a large public learning facility committed to exhibiting works of art that hold high educational value and cultural significance. Each year, six to eight exhibitions are mounted in the gallery. There are annual international exhibitions and panel discussions by scholars and noted historians. **Alumni welcome!

CSU Pueblo ASG President Address: 10 am- 10:30 am

Get to know CSU Pueblo’s ASG President Makayla Lerch as she welcomes visiting families to a new year at CSU Pueblo! **Alumni Families Welcome

Pup Zone: 10:30 am-1:30 pm

Location: Stadium Parking Lot

Children-friendly area as we welcome our “Future Thunder Wolves”! Have fun on the bounce houses and at the arts and crafts table. **Alumni Families Welcome

S-Camp: 10:30 am-1:30 pm

Location: Stadium Parking Lot

Siblings can spend time with CSU Pueblo students with games of corn hole, and jumbo Jenga, and challenge each other on the inflatable joust!

Pack Family Tailgate: 10:30 am-1:30 pm

Location: Stadium Parking Lot

Take part in the ThunderWolves football experience at Pack Family Weekend Tailgate. This family-friendly event includes Prize Wheel for Give aways, CSU Pueblo radio, DJ (MUSIC), balloons, family-friendly event features entertainment, photo booths, games and activities, inflatable, an all-you-can-eat buffet, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. First 200 students will receive a CSU Pueblo beanie.

Alumni Hospitality Tailgate: 12pm-2pm

Location: Above Warrior Center

Athletics and Alumni hospitality buffet is an all you can eat and drink buffet (including beer) at a great price! The hospitality buffet is located above the Warrior Center and will start 2 hours before the game starts and ends at kickoff. A separate ticket is needed for this event.

CSU Pueblo Football vs. Fort Lewis: 2pm

Location: CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl

The Pack football team is ready to battle as they take on the Fort Lewis Skyhawks.

 

Oktoberfest : 6 pm-8 pm

Location: The Patio

Celebrate this 200 year old tradition with food, music, and German beer provided Da Brix! 

Sunday, October 2, 2022

2022 Alumni & Young President's Club Brunch and Distinguished Young Alumni Awards:

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: The Patio at Occhiato Student Center

Join us for an Alumni Homecoming Brunch celebrating our to celebrate our Distinguished Young Alumni award winners and meet our Young President's Club members. A separate ticket is needed for this event.
