Colorado State University–Pueblo hosts employers at first Nursing Career Fair

PUEBLO – Colorado State University-Pueblo will host more than 10 local, regional, and state businesses offering employment opportunities to nursing students and CSU-Pueblo alumni at the First Nursing Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 on the second floor of the Technology Building.

“The Nursing Career Fair will be of special interest to all nursing students-not just seniors,” said Megan Gregorich, Employer Relations Specialist in the CSU-Pueblo Career Center. “Alumni and seniors can talk to recruiters about full-time professional opportunities. Juniors and sophomores can use this opportunity to find out about externships, part-time and summer employment. First-year and sophomore students can explore future career opportunities in nursing.”

Among the employers showcasing their organizations are:  Centennial Peaks Hospital, Centura Health, Colorado Department of Corrections, Holy Cross Medical Center in Taos, New Mexico, MGA Home Healthcare, Parkview Medical Center, Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care, San Luis Valley Health, Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, UC Health and Vanguard Skin Specialists.

Current students and alumni of the CSU-Pueblo School of Nursing are welcome to attend this free event. Nursing students from Pueblo Community College and the PCC Fremont campus also have been invited. CSU-Pueblo’s School of Nursing representatives will be available to discuss additional career advancement opportunities. For more information, contact the Career Center at 719.549.2980.
