PUEBLO - Three events are scheduled next week that will have a tremendous impact on the future success of Colorado State University-Pueblo students. In addition to a graduation fair for eligible seniors and graduate students, a career fair and alumni mixer will hone the skills and provide possible employment for all students.

Networking Mixer

The CSU-Pueblo Alumni Association, in partnership with the CSU-Pueblo Career Center and other generous community partners and sponsors, will host the Student to Community Networking Mixer on Tuesday, March 3, the evening prior to the annual Career Fair.

The mixer will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. on March 3 in the Occhiato University Center Hearthwell Lounge and gives students the opportunity to speak with business leaders from our community, many of whom are successful CSU-Pueblo alumni. Thanks to the generosity of Power Credit Union, students who participate will be eligible for a prize drawing for a pair of Beats headphones.

Because the benefits of networking are essential in any career path, students should understand that participation in the event could lead to internship opportunities as well as possible employment. Business dress is encouraged. Current students, alumni, employees of the University, and members of the Pueblo community are welcome to attend this free event. RSVP to Tracy Samora, director of alumni relations at 549-2858 or tracy.samora@csupueblo.edu.

Career Fair

More than 80 local, regional, state, and national employers are expected to offer employment to new college graduates at the annual Spring Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 in the Occhiato University Center Ballroom. Business attire is required for admittance to the event. The Fair is open to all students, recent graduates, alumni, university employees and faculty. All classes and all majors are welcome.

For more information concerning the Career Fair, contact the Career Center at 549-2980 or visit https://www.csupueblo.edu/career-center/employers.html for a complete list of employers.

Graduation Fair

Seniors and graduate students eligible for graduation in May are asked to attend a Graduation Fair to be held on March 2-4 to complete a variety of tasks related to the commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, which will honor Fall 2014, and Spring and Summer

2015 graduates. The Graduation Fair will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, March 2 at the University's Tower location in Colorado Springs at I-25 and Circle Drive and from

9 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 3-4 in the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore.

Orders and measurements for caps and gowns will be taken at that time, but students also may order class rings, legacy cords, graduation announcements, and commencement DVDs. Students also may have a professional portrait taken, meet with the Alumni Association, and get answers to any other graduation-related questions.

For more information on the Graduation Fair, contact Niki Whitaker at 549-2284 or email commencement@csupueblo.edu
