Sporting Clay Classic to Benefit Pack Volleyball

​The Colorado State University-Pueblo volleyball program will host a Sporting Clay Classic on Saturday, Apr. 5.  The proceeds will benefit the Pack volleyball program. The event, which will be held at River's Edge Shooting Clays in Avondale starting at 10 a.m.  Registration will be held the hour prior from 9-10 a.m. The cost is $90 for an individual or $360 for a team of four with the Early Bird rate that is good until Mar. 31.  After that, the cost increases to $100 per individual or $400 for a four-person team.  The event is limited to the first 100 shooters. Shooters can sign up as individuals or as part of a four-person team. Each shooter will shoot 100 targets at 10 stations with prizes awarded to the top individual shooters and teams.  All participants will receive a shooter's goodie bag, a lunch following the event, and a gun safety refresher provided by River's Edge prior to the event. Shotguns are available for rent for $10. People unable to attend the event can still support the program by sponsoring a shooting station for $100, by making a flat donation to the program or sponsoring a team.
