Federal Depository

The CSU-Pueblo University Library was designated an official government depository for the Third Congressional District of Colorado in 1965. The collection is open to the public, and most materials can be checked out to students, faculty, staff, and community members. The collection includes paper documents, online resources, CDs and DVDs, videos, and multimedia items dating from the 1960s. The Library primarily selects materials that are useful to retain in print format. The Library also provides electronic access to the majority of documents issued by the federal government and its agencies since 2011.

Find and Use Government Documents

The Government Documents collection is located on the 4th floor of the Library. The Library's Guide to Government Documents contains more information on finding and accessing print and electronic materials.

Colorado State Publications

The CSU-Pueblo Library is not a state repository. The Pueblo City & County Library District Rawlings Library is a designated depository library for the State of Colorado and maintains a circulating collection of state documents for public use in paper and digital formats. The collection includes documents published during the past five years, as well as historical documents related to the Pueblo region.
