Get Started

Your NetID is your student number and your login for nearly all your CSU Pueblo account.  It is a nine-digit number with a capital C at the start, e.g., C123456789.  Activate your NetID using the instructions below, in which you will set your password that you will use throughout your time at CSU Pueblo.  This is the most important first step so that you can get your student email, register for courses, access your student PAWS portal, and more.  If you have questions, please call 719-549-2002 or email info@csupueblo.edu. 

• Enter the NetID assigned to you in your acceptance letter. 
• Enter activation email address (the same email address you listed on your application).
• Check the “I’m not a robot” box.
• Click Send.

You will receive a Net ID activation email to the email address you entered above.  Open the email and click NetID activation link.  A second page will open in your browser to complete activation:   

• Re-enter your NetID and click Continue.
• If you are affiliated with more than one Colorado State University campus, an additional page may appear that shows an email domain for both CSU Ft. Collins and CSU Pueblo. Select csupueblo.edu for CSU Pueblo.
• Enter a preferred first name.
• Select a first name for your CSU email alias.
• Enter a non-CSU email address to use for password recovery.
• Create a NetID password.
• Review the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Click Activate.

Your NetID will be activated, and a confirmation email will be sent to the above-listed email address.  Wait 24 hours before proceeding to Step 2.

• Go to the Microsoft 365 page on CSU Pueblo website
• Log into Outlook by clicking the MICROSOFT 365 LOGIN button. Your username is NetID@colostate.edu (Example:  C12345678@colostate.edu).  Please note, this is a username ONLY and is NOT your student email address.

• Download the DUO Mobile App from the app store on your smartphone or tablet.
• Register your device. At the bottom of the page under “Duo Tools”, click Register & Manage Devices
• Select campus by clicking CSU Pueblo Login.  A new screen will appear on your browser.
• Complete the screen:
  • Give your device a name (Example:  My Smartphone).
  • Enter the device phone number.
  • Select DUO mobile app for device type.
  • Select device platform (Example:  Apple IOS or Android).
  • Click save.
• Launch the DUO Mobile App.  Register your smartphone or tablet by scanning the QR Code that appears on the screen.  You will see Colorado State University Pueblo on your list of DUO protections.

Duo for Phone

• Register your device. At the bottom of the page under “Duo Tools”, click Register & Manage Devices
• Select campus by clicking on CSU Pueblo Login.  A new screen will appear on your browser.
• Complete the screen:
  • Give your device a name (Example: My phone)
  • Enter the device phone number.
  • Select phone call for device type.
  • Click save

• Select the NetID Login option.
• Use your NetID and password that you created.
• Select campus by clicking on CSU Pueblo Login.

A dashboard will appear with all the items you will use as a student.  

Retrieve Your Student Email Address

While logged into your PAWS account, click on the Registration button.  You will see your Self-Service Banner dashboard that includes your student email address.

TWOLFnet is the university internet service. 

Personal Devices

1. Click TWOLFnet from the Current Students page or button below.
2. Enter your NetID username and password.
3. Register any personal devices you intend to use the university Internet service. You will need the device MAC Address to register, help to find this is available on the web form.
