TWOLFnet Wireless Access

Getting Connected

To connect to the CSU Pueblo Wireless network, you will use various authentication methods based on your role and device type. Below are the details for different user categories and their respective connection procedures:

Personal Wireless Devices

  • Go to your device's wireless settings.
  • Select the TWOLFnet network.
  • When prompted, enter your NetID and password.
  • If asked to accept a certificate.
  • Click Yes.

If you are having trouble connecting, navigate to your WIFI networks and forget TWOLFnet and then reconnect.

  •  

    My device needs more information to get connected, what's the domain?

    Some devices that may ask you different details beyond the standard NetID. Depending on the operating system on your device here are additional deails you may need to include.

    • Domain: colostate.edu
    • Identity: Your NetID
    • Anonymous Identity: leave blank
    • Password: Your NetID password
    Additional settings
    • Network Security: WPA2 Enterprise
    • EAP method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
    • CA certificate: Use system certificates
    • Certificate Status: Do not verify
    • User authentication (not machine)
    • Uncheck "Use Windows credentials"
    • Trusted Root Certification Authority: AddTrust Ext. CA Root
    • Accept security certificate for freerad.colostate.edu
    • AES encryption (also may be listed as CCMP)
    • Proxy: None
    • IP Settings: DHCP

    I'm in the dorms and cannot use a NetID to login to my device? (Xbox, Playstation, switch etc...)

    • Go to https://wifi.colostate.edu
    • Login with your NetID and password
    • Click Create Device in the menu on the left
    • Enter the device name and MAC address (can be in any format – AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF, AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF, or AABBCCDDEEFF)
    • Click the Create Device button

    Your device can now access the TWOLFnet-IoT network. You can have up to 5 devices registered this way.

    I'm a faculty, staff, or student employee on a university owned device, how do I connect?

    University-owned devices will automatically connect to the TWOLFnet wireless network.
    • Login with your NetID username and password.
    • Accept the certificate (if asked) by clicking Yes.
