The Center for STEM Support fosters a student-centered support structure for STEM students inside and outside of the classroom. The Center for STEM Support provides academic support via tutoring, mental health and wellness support, and structured support for STEM student clubs and organizations.

STEM Counseling Support
Beginning in the Spring 2023 semester, the Center for STEM Support welcomes Molly Becker, who is a licencesed clinical counselor. Molly will provide free counseling support for STEM students, with appointment opportunities in the MAPS Office (Life Science 114) or the CSU Pueblo Counseling Center (IHHI 174). The Calm Room
Beginning in the Spring 2023 semester, the MAPS Office has created the Calm Room, which is a safe and comfortable space for students to decompress and relax. The Calm Room is located inside the MAPS Office in Life Science 112, and is open to student use whenever the MAPS Office is open. -
Science Tutoring and Classroom Support
Drop-in and appointment-based tutoring support for students enrolled in STEM Courses. The Science Learning Center provides support for Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses. The Math Learning Center provides support for Math, Physics, Engineering, Civil Engineering and Construction Management courses. The School of Health Science and Human Movement Tutoring Center provides tutoring support for Exercise Science and Athletic Training courses. STEM Support Navigators
In collaboration with the Counseling Center, Masters of Social Work (MSW) Program, and Health Coaching Program, the Center fro STEM Support employs student interns each academic year to serve as STEM Support Navigators. The STEM Support Navigators are co-located in the Science Learning Center (Life Science 122) and are trained interns that provide a welcoming space for STEM students to find support and connect to resources on campus.
