English Tutorial Service

Tutorial assistance is provided for new foreign students who wish to improve facility in speaking English and correct grammar usage.

The length of tutorial sessions are from one-half hour to one hour periods.  Students may come every day, every other day, weekly, or schedule a  regular time every week, or on a drop in basis. Frequency depends on what the student would like help with, i.e., pronunciation and spelling as well correct grammar usage within a specific subject.  The tutors will work individually or with a group as desired by the student(s). Hours of operation vary.

There is no additional cost for the student to participate in this program.

CISA

CISA is an organization comprised of students of the United States and other nations of the world, who collectively attend Colorado State University Pueblo, and strive to:

  • perpetuate better more pronounced communication among people of the world.
  • encourage individual and group development.
  • invigorate an atmosphere of better informed, more widely-accepted provocations of student rights and responsibilities than provincial mindedness allows.
  • offer the student a veritable chance to broaden intellectual, cultural and social horizons through an open invitation of fellowship.
