Student Registration

To register for courses, students will need to complete the following:

Meet with your success coach or faculty advisor

It is required that students meet with their success coach or connect with a faculty advisor prior to self registration. Students can schedule an appointment through Starfish (found in PAWS), or contact their academic success coach/faculty advisor.

Register for Courses in Banner

Students self-register for courses in Banner (accessible through PAWS). Students who do not have their proof of vaccination or exemption forms submitted by registration will have a hold on their account until that requirement is met.

    Do I need to use DUO to log into Banner?

    How do I register for classes in Banner?

    Can I register for classes on my phone or tablet?

    Registration is not mobile friendly. It's best for you to use a desktop computer with Google Chrome.

    How many attempts do I have to register for classes in a semester?

    Each semester, students have 3000 attempts to register. Exceeding this limit will not allow you to register and will show an error that says, "You are not able to register because of too many attempts".

    Can I plan my class schedule in advance through my PAWS account?

    Yes. Follow these instructions:

    Where can I see if I met a prerequisite?

    This information can be seen on your degree audit (i.e. DARS) in PAWS.

    Where can I view class details?

    Most information can be viewed in your class schedule or under Course Offerings here.

    How can I see which courses an instructor is teaching?

    This information is available via the Course Offerings link:

    1. Click "Advanced Search" and start typing the instructor’s name within the "Instructor" box.
    2. Click "Search". All courses that instructor is teaching for a given term will display.

    Where can I submit my vaccination or exemption forms?

    Students can submit vaccination or exemption forms in either Immunization Portal or ThunderWolf Health Portal.

    How do I print my schedule?

    I have a hold on my account but already submitted my vaccination requirements. What do I do?

    Please contact the WolfPack Wellness Center to get the hold cleared.

    What are my options if I do not get my vaccination requirements completed in time for registration?

    Students are encouraged to submit their exemption documents as soon as possible.

    How can I complete course evaluations?

    Course evaluations are completed under PAWS, but only after a notice has been sent to you that they're available to fill out.
