Instructors are able to in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under "Registration Approvals and Overrides". -
Can faculty mark a student as advised?
No, unless you are also an advisor. -
Where can I mark a student as advised?
Advisors can remove a student’s advising PIN in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under "Remove Advising PIN" on the Faculty and Advising landing page, and also under the Student Profile. -
How can I enter in a permit override?
In Self-Service Banner (SSB) under "Registration Approvals and Overrides":
- Select the term, enter the student's netID or the student's full name.
- Click "Submit".
- Choose the intended student from the search results.
- Select the override for your course.

How can a student's block schedule be printed?
Students are able to do this in their PAWS account via Self-Service Banner (SSB) under the Registration module. -
How can I see what a student's academic standing is?
Advisors can view this information in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under the Student Profile via the "Registration Notices" tab. -
Will Advisors be able to register students?
No, only students have access to register for courses. Self-Service Banner (SSB) is not mobile friendly, so it'll be best for students to use a desktop computer with Google Chrome. -
How can I see if a student is Degree Plus?
This information displays in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under the Student Profile and, under "General Information/Class", it will show Senior-Second Bachelors. -
How can I see a student's demographic information?
This information is not available in Self-Service Banner (SSB). For questions, please contact the Registrar's Office at 719-549-2261. -
How can I see a student's unofficial transcript?
Advisors can see unofficial transcripts in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under the Student Profile. -
How do students register for courses?

Where can I see if a student has a Consent for Release on file?
In Self-Service Banner (SSB) under the Student Profile via the "Holds" tab. This will share what information can be released, to whom, and if a PIN is
required to verify the release of this information.

This information is available on the unofficial transcript, which an advisor can view in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under the Student Profile. -
What are class details and where can I find them?
Class details are specific pieces of information that identify a course offering. These details include (but are not limited to):
- Course subject and number
- Course Reference Number (CRN)
- Modality
- Meeting Days/Times
- Classroom

Who processes course scheduling?
All course scheduling is completed by academic departments. -
How do I request that a course section be added or cancelled?
Please email csup_sections@csupueblo.edu. For new section requests, include (at minimum):
- Course Subject and Number
- Modality
- If an instructor permit is required
- Part of Term

Where can I find the semester notes?
Semester Notes information is now found on the Academic Calendar page. -
How can I see which courses an instructor is teaching?
This information is available under Course Offerings:
- Click "Advanced Search" and start typing the instructor’s name within the "Instructor" box.
- Click "Search". All courses that instructor is teaching for a given term will display.

Where can grades be entered?
Instructors can enter grades in Self-Service Banner (SSB) under "Enter Grades". For general grading questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 719-549-2261.
