About the Department

The Department of Psychology has a primary mission of preparing students for a successful career in the field of Psychology and related areas to prepare students for advanced graduate study.

CSU Pueblo faculty and staff are dedicated to providing a rich and interacting learning experience where our students get to work hands-on with individuals and families in need.

We provide our students with extensive opportunities to assess their motivation for career psychology. We encouraged our students to take advantage of many opportunities in the psychology department, including field placements and both laboratory and field-based research.

The Department of Psychology offers several entry pathways and learning formats. You can complete courses entirely online or in a hybrid format with on-campus instruction. Our graduates are highly regarded in the community and are sought to fill staffing needs in the surrounding urban and rural communities in this region.
