Concentration Area
All students pursuing the Bachelor of Arts & Science
in Political Science may select a concentration area as a specialization for their Degree. We offer the following areas of concentration:
Political Science: 7-12 Teacher Preparation Concentration, Bachelor of Arts
The Bachelor of Arts or Science in Political Science with a concentration in Political Science: 7-12 Teacher Preparation Concentration, Bachelor of Arts
prepares students for teaching at the middle and high school level. Students will also work closely with the Teacher Education Program to gain the experience and necessary skills to thrive, lead, and innovate in the classroom.
The program also provides students with foundational knowledge in the following:
- Human Development
- Childhood Adolescence
- Educational Psychology
- Foundations of Education
- Educational Media and Technology
- And Much More!
Requirements
This concentration requires a total of 40 credit hours.
