1098-T Tax Information
If you are eligible for a 1098-T, a copy has been mailed by January 31st to the address on record at CSU-Pueblo.

Instructions to access 1098-T prior to 2023
You will need to provide:
- First and Last Name
- Social Security Number
- The Zip Code associated with your account at CSU-Pueblo
If you did not receive a 1098-T in the mail or have trouble accessing your 1098-T through the website, please contact Student Financial Services at 719-549-2181 or 719-549-2753.
**For assistance claiming your educational expenses, please seek advice from a professional tax preparer.**
Clarifications:
- Housing/Meal Plans are not reported on the 1098-T
- Loans are not reported on the 1098-T
- Scholarships/Grants reported in Box 5 of the 1098-T include payments made from the College Opportunity Fund, Third Party Sponsors and Veteran Affairs
Reporting Changes for Calendar Year 2018 for Form 1098-T:
- Under Federal Law, beginning with the 2018 tax year, we will now be reporting in Box 1 the amount of Qualified Tuition & Expenses you paid during calendar year 2018
- We will no longer be reporting under Box 2 the Qualified Tuition & Expenses we billed to your student account as we have done during previous calendar (tax) years
