Concentration Areas
All students pursuing Business Administration MBA program may select an concentration area as a specialization to their Degree. We offer the following areas of concentration:
Cybersecurity
The Business Administration MBA degree with an concentration in Cybersecurity prepares students for careers in the specialized field of information technology security. The program combines the study of data security with business management courses so that students may understand core business management knowledge in such related fields.
Students will gain a strong knowledge of cybersecurity & defense, IT security management, computer forensics, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. The cybersecurity program prepares students to work in various career opportunities such as security analyst, forensic analyst, IT security consultant, and much more.
Requirements
The Cybersecurity concentration requires a total of 36 credit hours.
Healthcare Administration
Students have the option to pursue their MBA with an concentration in Healthcare Administration. This emphasis may be of particular interest to students who plan to have a career in the healthcare industry, including public and private hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and other medical fields. This pathway prepares individuals for advancement in positions related to business and leadership, such as directors, coordinators, and chief nursing officers.
Additionally, this program is designed to bring healthcare support staff, particularly in the administrative areas, to develop solutions that help patients and support organizational needs and priorities. The program requires a 10-hour experiential learning experience as part of the curriculum, which can be completed through a healthcare facility, either through current employment or an internship opportunity.
