Law Enforcement

(A)    In the event of an emergency or if there is a risk of an immediate health or safety emergency, law enforcement should be contacted by calling 911.

(B)    A Reporting Party has the right to pursue charges or file a concurrent complaint with local law enforcement, independently of any Complaint filed with the University.

(C)    Upon a Reporting Party’s request, the University can assist a Reporting Party with reporting a concern to law enforcement that is also a crime.

(D)    Alleged incidents that occur on the University’s Pueblo Campus can be reported to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, at the following:

(E)    Alleged incidents that occur off of the University’s Pueblo campus but in the City of Pueblo, including the privately owned Wolf Village Apartments located east of Campus or the Belmont neighborhood south of campus, can be reported to the City of Pueblo Policy Department at the following:

(F)     Contact information for law enforcement agencies in other jurisdictions where the University has physical operations can be found in Appendix B.

Reporting to Law Enforcement

If you wish to report an allegation of a violation of the Policy on Discrimination, Protected Class Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence, Stalking, or Retaliation that may also be a crime, to law enforcement, you should contact local law enforcement in the area where the incident occurred. In the event of an emergency, people should seek immediate assistance from law enforcement by dialing 911 or by contacting the appropriate local law enforcement agencies. Contact information for local law enforcement in jurisdictions in and around where CSU-Pueblo has physical operations is below.
