Administrative professional employees are ones who do not have an academic rank or title. This does not include State Classified employees or temporary employees. These are also personnel who are officers and directors of administrative departments, personnel appointed by the Governing Board as officers of the Board, and all such professional assistants to these officials whose appointments are by Board action.
Current Opportunities
Classified employees are permanent employees not included in the Faculty or Administrative/Professional groups. These include members of the State Classified Personnel System. This system is governed by Colorado Law and requires that candidates for such positions be residents of the State of Colorado.

Faculty are all personnel who carry academic rank, academic titles, or special academic status. Some examples include: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Instructor, Lecturer, Adjunct Professor, Visiting Professor, Faculty/Research Associate, Faculty-in-Residence, Endowed Chair/Professorship, Professor Emeritus, Certain administrative officers, and Charter School Faculty.

Conditions of Employment
- Colorado State University Pueblo is committed to providing a safe and productive learning and living community. To achieve that goal, all candidates who are extended an offer of employment must complete and pass a background check. Some positions depending on the job duties may be required to complete a DMV or credit check.
- All new hires must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States within 3 days of hire.
- For positions requiring a degree, candidates must provide an official transcript to Human Resources within 30 days of hire.
